Simple instructions

  1. Create or open an XNA Game project
  2. Add a .fx file to the project
  3. Right click on the .fx file in the Solution Explorer and choose "Properties"
  4. Change "XNA Framework Content" to "False"
  5. Set "Custom Tool" to "EffectGenerator"
  6. Build project
